5.2.3 Lease Details

This is the third, and the most commonly used method of adding leases in the tool. A few general rules:

LeaseID is a unique field and cannot be repeated. It can be alphanumeric and can contain special characters like “- , ;” but not “&”. A lease can be created only by someone with a Maker ID.
As a first step, please select the division and then checker by clicking on the box next to the respective tabs. If you have not opted for Division feature, you will only see the Checker drop down.
Once all the mandatory fields, indicated by a red asterisk, in a tab have been filled up, the details can be saved by clicking the “Save” icon. The details of each field are given in the section below.

The Maker can click on Run to check the calculation. The lease liability and ROU schedules thus generated are not stored in the main database. Any lease that is not approved by a Checker and Run has no impact on the reports generated.
To send a lease to the Checker for verification, click on “Edit”, select “Lease submitted for approval” from the Modify Status drop down, click on “Save” and then click on “Yes” in the confirmation pop up window.

This error message appears when a mailbox has not been configured for auto mailers to the Checker.

5.2.3.1 Company Details

Company Name	Drop Down	Mandatory	This is a drop down from the Company Master. Selecting the company will also populate the Company Code.
Company Code	Auto populated	Mandatory	Non-editable field driven by the selection made in Company Name.
Beginning of Fiscal Year	Date	Mandatory	This field, while mandatory, does not have an impact on calculation. Hence, you can put it as 1st April 2019 for all leases.
Fiscal Year	Number	Mandatory	This field, while mandatory, does not have an impact on calculation. Hence, you can put it as 2020 for all leases.
End of Fiscal Year	Date	Mandatory	This field, while mandatory, does not have an impact on calculation. Hence, you can put it as 31st March 2020 for all leases.
Reporting Date	Date	Mandatory	This field, while mandatory, does not have an impact on calculation. Hence, you can put it as 31st March 2020 for all leases.
