Reassessments and Modifications
Reassessments and modifications are handled through the Amendment Master tab in the tool. It provides a simplified process where the UI remains consistent for making changes due to amendments in lease contracts.
⚠️ Important Note:
The Amendment Master is accessible only with the Checker ID. There is no Maker-Checker concept here. However, a detailed log of changes is maintained, including the date and user who made each change.
Who Can Make Amendments?
Amendments can only be made by two types of Checkers:
- Checkers who have approved the lease
- Checkers at a higher level in the Division hierarchy
Example:
If there's an HO division and four regional divisions, here's how rights are applied:
- Checker A (at HO)
- Checker B (at West Region)
- Checker C (at North Region)
If LeaseID 123 from the West Region was approved by Checker B, it: - Can be amended by: - Checker B (condition 1) - Checker A (condition 2) - Cannot be amended or viewed by: - Checker C
Methods of Processing Amendments
Amendments can be processed in two ways:
- Directly in the Tool
- ✅ Preferred Option
- Most intuitive method with minimal risk of errors

Can be used for one lease at a time
- 📄 Secondary Option
- Suitable for bulk changes across multiple leases
- Care must be taken to avoid unintended modifications
