Relation Between the Region Hierarchy and Region Master

· Hierarchy Master is the parent of Region Maser. The user can access Region Master by a Right click on the Hierarchy Id.

· Click on Child Hierarchy for Region Master.

· The Region Master lists all the regions to which the product has to be served.

Region Hierarchy Id Identifier of the hierarchy as defined in the table Forecast Region Hierarchy.
Region Id Region code or region group
Description Description of the Region.
Region Group Whether the Region Id defined is parent or child. If it is parent, then the region group should be True
Forecast Hierarchy Whether this product should be displayed in the Forecast screen.
Replenishment Hierarchy Whether this product/Item should be displayed in the Replenishment screen
Sort Order If specified, the Region will be sorted in ascending order in Region Tree in Forecast Plan and Replenishment Plan screen.

· Region Master is the parent master for Region Details.

· To access Region Details, Right Click on the Region Id. Region Details are automatically displayed for the Region Id with ‘True’ Region Group.

· The Region Details show Parent and Child Region Id.

Region Hierarchy Id Identifier of the hierarchy as defined in the table Forecast Region Hierarchy.
Parent Region Id Parent region which could be a region group or zone
Child Region Id Child region linked to the parent.
Split Percentage Needs to be populated for the disaggregation of the forecast. If not populated, the tool will automatically calculate based on historical sales.
